Jeanna Fascione, DPM
Dr. Jeanna Fascione is excited to join Foot & Ankle Specialists of Ohio. She is initially from the greater Cleveland area, North Royalton. She is qualified to treat surgical and non-surgical conditions of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Fascione graduated from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and during this time she also completed the Swanson Independent Research Scholar Program. She then further completed a competitive three year residency program in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with certification in Reconstructive, Rearfoot, & Ankle Surgery. Her residency training was completed at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois, in which both hospitals are level one trauma centers. Through this training, she has obtained diverse experience in limb salvage, foot and ankle trauma, diabetic foot and arthritis management, pediatrics, sports medicine, wound management, and general foot and ankle care.
Prior to podiatric training, she graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology as well as a Minor in Sports Medicine. Dr. Fascione also had the opportunity to compete at the Division I level as a Track and Field middle distance athlete and Cross Country runner. During this time, she obtained CoSIDA Academic All-American honors and was selected as a team captain. Today she still enjoys running, strength training, and racing; and continues to contribute at local sporting events as a medical professional.
As an advocate for podiatric medicine, Dr. Fascione has been the primary author on several medical journal articles and continues to participate in the research process as a researcher, presenter, and peer reviewer. She also enjoys participating in podiatric medical and surgical conferences and workshops, as well as presenting lectures, and serving as a mentor. Dr. Fascione values the continuation of professional development and providing a high level of compassionate and quality patient care.
She is currently accepting new patients at our Mentor and Chardon locations.
